1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Customaware Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our mobile and web application StoreAware, and related services.

StoreAware is an invite-only business application. It is not available for open public registration. Access is limited to authorized users who have been invited by Customaware Systems or by an authorized administrator for their organization. Accounts are provisioned for invited users rather than created through self-signup.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use StoreAware, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account information

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Login credentials (such as username and password)

Business and store data

• Information you enter about your business, stores, operations, inventory, or related workflows within the app

Location information

• Device or user location data, when you grant location permission, to support store-related features that require location

Camera and photos

• Images captured with the device camera or selected from your photo library when you choose to upload or attach photos in the app

Technical and usage information

• Information needed to operate and secure the service, such as account activity related to sign-in and use of app features

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provision, manage, and authenticate invited user accounts
• Provide, maintain, and improve StoreAware features and business workflows
• Store and display business/store content and photos you submit
• Enable location-based functionality when you have granted permission
• Send service-related emails (for example account, notification, or operational messages)
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service
• Protect the security and integrity of our apps and systems
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate StoreAware, including with service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — used to store photos and related application data
• Email service provider — used to send emails related to accounts and the service

These providers process information under our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Customaware Systems, our users, or others.

5. Device permissions

StoreAware may request the following device permissions:

• Location — to support features that depend on knowing where a store or activity is located
• Camera — to capture photos within the app
• Photos / media library — to select and upload existing images

You can control these permissions through your device settings. If you deny or revoke a permission, some features may not work as intended.

6. Data retention

We retain account information, business/store data, and uploaded photos for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain information for longer where required for legitimate business purposes, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain it by law.

7. Account and data deletion

Because StoreAware is invite-only, accounts are managed by administrators. Accounts can be deleted by an administrator through the StoreAware web application. If you want your account and associated personal data deleted, please contact us at administrator@customaware.com and include:

• The email address associated with your StoreAware account
• A clear request to delete your account and related personal data

We will verify the request and process account deletion through our administrative tools. After deletion, you will no longer be able to access the account.

8. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

StoreAware is an invite-only business application and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International users

Customaware Systems is based in Mongolia. If you use StoreAware from another country, your information may be processed in Mongolia and in other countries where our service providers (including AWS and our email provider) operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of StoreAware after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
